If I’m not mistaken he’s the same artist that did some super realistic sculptures of travelers that were exhibited in airports over the US in the seventies. So as one can have some learned forms to develope your own. ![]() The thing is not directly to imitate but to learn their techniques But because I want to have a platform from which I can develop my own style. I - for one - would appreciate it greatly. ![]() And therefore I would also very much like to know a technique that comes close to the one we see in his pictures. I would very much myself like to make photos that come around the same 'other worldness', although the pictures I have in my head are no way near to the pictures of Saudek. but which doesn't make them less beautiful!). There are great beauty to be found in them, but they certainly do demand the ability to find the beauty in the ugly (or the other way around, which I think is also the case for Saudek's photos. I don't find Saudek's pictures disturbing. We need to know the tools and what they can do and then this knowledge will set us free! Free I say! Free to do whatever we wanna do! ![]()
